School
Degree programs run 2 – 4 years. You're applying techniques in year 3 or 4, after general music theory, history, and broad audio fundamentals.
Time To Application
Faculty are often academics or semi-retired professionals. Some programs do hire active engineers, but students share them with 20+ classmates.
